Mood Barometer Submarine with Dusty Attic

Welcome creative friends!

I was looking for a special gift idea and had an inspiration.

Especially in today's difficult times, people are not always in a good mood,
there are good and bad days.
When I had this ingenious submarine with the 3D effect lying on the table,
I thought to myself, this must definitely be seen
and shouldn't disappear in the closet.

So I created a mood barometer for desk with the help
of two metal threaded rods and a few magnets.

Tagalbum 'Enjoy your Journey' with 13arts

Welcome creative friends!

I was inspired to create a Tag album
and used as base the Tag Book Set from 13arts.
A perfect size for me and this is a project for betweens,
you know what I mean?
You don't need much time and not much material,
but you can express a lot.

I created a sea inspired album in Steampunk style.

I used one of the latest awesome mixed media collections
'Industrial Zone', here you can find a lot of suitable small things
transparency elements, Emphemera, sayings,
 stamps, very thin MDF parts
and so much more ...

Tip:  you can also use wrapping materials, here from a stencil

DIY Book Nook with Tuto Tips - 'Steamies Adventures' Dusty Attic

Welcome creative friends!

Some time ago I presented you my first Garden Book Nook

created with Dusty chipboards, it was a gift for a dear gardening friend

and was very well received.

Building Book Nooks has become a trendy theme and you can see

many realistic miniature worlds inspired by great book themes.

I had to build my first blank myself,

now Dusty Attic has two matching very sturdy book nooks on offer.

They are just great and inspired me together with the new marine mechanicals

to create a book nook of a very different kind.

This time I chose the maritime steampunk world as a theme and positioned my favourite seahorse,

(lovingly known here as Steamie 😀😍)

in 3d optic in the foreground.

I thought about installing two thread rods so that I could fix the individual parts in place.
I tried it out and it works 😀😎
