ATC in Vintagestyle

Welcome!

I was inspired from the Prima 'Love Clippings collection' in this kit
and I thought this notecards are a perfect background
for a set of four Artist Trading cards (ATC).
It's one of my first tries with this amazing little size.

I created a very romantic set in vintage style and added some old photo cutout's,
the suitable chipboards (Blue Fern Studios) , butterflies dies,
some pieces of lace and gauze, bookpaper and all were only leftovers.
You need no more for this format.

you can use the notecards as basic , but also for some cutouts,
here the little roses with a clock face

clear stamps from Bella are really magic,
I think as water or dew drops for a lovely effect on your background

on the right side you can see a rub on from Prima from our January kit,
 a metallic foil accent

as well as on my last layout
I used the beautiful Magical powder from Lindys Stamp Gang
for a small gauze
it gives a wonderful altered effect

Many thanks for your visit!
Happy weekend!

When I was a little girl ...

Hello everyone!

I decided to make a vintage layout with 'Our Story' February Kit
for our DT Scrap of Darkness.
It's a wonderful memory on my childhood  at the tender age of 3 years with my grandparents
who are died far too early.
They always took me to her garden in a little wooden handcart,
where I was able to observe all the little nature things, florets, bugs, ants and butterflies.

I used a paper from the wonderful Blue Fern Studios' Memoirs collection
 as background,
the colors were perfect for my vintage layout.
The work with the milk chocolate powder from Lindy's stamp gang was really 'Magical' unexpected color effects occur, fascinating!!

I used the Magical powder also for gauze

wonderful flowers from the Floral Add On,
flowers, leaves and the suitable butterfly are from 49 Market
I love this smart color

DT Scrap of Darkness Butterflies

Welcome!

Today a shadow frame with a beautiful saying,
just the right thing for a new home decor piece.
I was impressed from the G 45 paper page 'Every Blooming thing',
I love meadows, poppies, butterflies which looks so natural.

Happiness is like a butterfly. If you sit down quietly, it may light upon you.

This was a decorate chipboard from the G 45  Nature Sketchbook Collection ,
I used it as a tag with a ribbon around the whole wooden frame.

I used a part of the paper as background
and furthermore a cut out from the butterfly and poppy flower.
With this  3d elements the whole lives more.

I hope you will like this new January 'Botanique' Inspiration.

DT Scrap of Darkness 'Botanique'

Welcome!

a new Layout with papers and elements from our January kit 'Botanique'
I used the papers from G 45 Nature Sketchbook Collection as background, cut outs and added some embellishments, flowers and the green crystal drops as pearls.

some details please

the flowers were originally yellow, I inked them with a red Mister paint,
so they are more fitting to the whole layout

DT Scrap of Darkness ' Botanique' II

Welcome!

Today another idea what you can make with our beautiful January kit 'Botanique'.
My idea was to use an old wooden bird house
as home decor piece for my new springtime decoration.

I painted everything with a coat of DecoArt White Gesso and let it dry.
Then I started my alteration by using some Decoupage glue
to apply a layer of old music paper.
Only some areas I coated with Crackle white paste.
When everything was dry I applied a layer ofDecoArt Media Antiquing cream 'Raw umber'
into the cracks and about the whole house and an aged look was ready.

I found on the 'Mother Earth' paper from G 45 Nature Sketchbook Collection
a lot of motifs, which are very suitable for this bird house in nature look.
So I cut out a yellow flower, fern leaves, butterflies and the funny grasshopper
and glue it also to edge and as 3D (butterflies).

three small chipboards as roofing tiles

a burlap ribbon as bow and stripe together with two chitchat stickers
- blooming freedom -
 and my house was finished

DT Scraps of Darkness Kit 'Botanique'

Welcome friends!

My first Layout as Scrap of Darkness Designer,
thanks sooo much
for this fantastic opportunity
I was so excited, proud and happy about this good news
and it's starting now :-)

The January Kit 'Botanique' is filled with a lot of paper
from Graphic 45 new collection 'Nature Sketchbook',
a great set of papers, stamps and embellishments with nature feeling.

What could be more perfect for this theme than a beautiful memory
with our sheltie dog  'Filou'. It was a wonderful trip into the mountains,
a lucky day
 with a lot of sunshine,
and warm temperatures.

You 're my heart!

I used as background paper 'Plant Kingdom' from
 Nature Sketchbook Collection
and some cutouts from 'Mother Earth' , a beautiful suitable chipboard tag
from the Main Kit
and I tried the Prima Rub on foil
together with adhesive rub ons from the Elements Add on kit.

great fun with a beautiful result

decorative chipboard tag from G 45

another cut out,  a flower and a feather together
with a chipboard from Blue Fern Studios

two 3D hearts with cutting dies and old bookpaper
