Halloween Fun Card

  Hello everyone!

Today a new Halloween inspiration, it's a pop up card with fun.

I enjoy creating spooky Halloween scenes, filled with imagination and a touch of humor.

This 3D card is intended for those who prioritize more important things

over constantly cleaning their home. 😁

Halloween is wonderful, it's the only time of year

when cobwebs and dust are considered decorative in the home.

Witches' Soiree Invitation

  Hello everyone!

I'm back with a new layout created with our monthly Moodboard inspiration.

Halloween is coming soon,  therefore  a bigger invitation

 for a midnight witches'soiree. 👀👻😀

All this would not fit on a standard-sized card. 😁

In the Halloween section there are a lot of amazing chippies on this theme.

They constantly encourage you to incorporate enchanting themes in a creative manner.

Hallo - Luna - ween

 Hello everyone!

Halloween is approaching, and I had a thought to create

an amusing and frightful doorhanger.

Have you checked out the latest Halloweenmoon mixed media board?
If you examine it closely, can you spot the face?

I have completed the face and now Mrs Luna,

dressed as a Halloween witch, greets me from the moon.

The Big Pumpkin

 Hello everyone!

😍👍  Calico Craft Parts is offering new 3D kits. 😍👍

I began with a large pumpkin which was very easy
to assemble with the illustrated instructions provided.

Except for the two ribs that represent the house,

you can arrange the individual ribs as you wish.

I have only added a ghost, a cat, and a few autumn leaves.

No matter if you add colour to it or not, it always looks fascinating

and is  definitely an eye-catcher in any autumnal interior design.

Pumpkin Haunted House - MDF Wood Kit

I chose to paint the pumpkin using simple acrylic paints,
taking care not to make it too colorful
but instead to give it an old, decayed, and mysterious look.
To achieve this, I thinned the colors and let them run freely,
creating a natural appearance.
I primed the house with a crackle medium, which resulted in fine cracks.

With extra lighting, it becomes attention-grabbing in the darkness.

You may use electric tea lights, illuminate the background with a string of wire lights

or place a colour-changing light bulb behind it.

A door to another world

Hello everyone!

I was inspired to create a mixed media collage

on a new mixed media board - The crescent moon.

Autumn is here, a sunny time that inspires with its colourful leaves

but also gives a feeling of sadness as winter draws near.

This season is also known for being grey, gloomy, and mysterious,

and it brings along the traditional Halloween festivities.

Initially, I gave structure to the moon by using a stencil and texture medium.

I created a landscape of craters with silver decosand, which I then coated

in black gesso once it had dried. However,

I regret not having taken a photo as what I had done is barely visible now.

Maybe it'll work better next time because this moon is so adaptable.

With some luck, there will be other moon shapes soon. 😀

Altered Book with Dusty Attic

Welcome creative souls!

A little bit late for Halloween, I know
but our nights in November are also always very dark,
misty and mysterious.

Some would also say after Halloween is before Halloween,
but I'm not such a big fan of this event, I
rather love the magic and mystery and the great fantasy behind it.

I created a book in Altered Art, love this old, weathered look
it fits to a mystery atmosphäre
and invite to tell fantasy stories.
Dusty Attic  has a large selection of chipboards
for such stories in the assortment, love that!
